Once upon a time there was a Samurai Master that was offended by some offence by a petty bureaucrat with no war skills at all. He told the small man that " Tomorrow I will kill you & thew a spare blade a the little mans feet so he might make a feeble attempt to defend himself. The small man took the blade & ran to his temple. There the head monk told him to lay down the weapon. Be at peace & have some tea. The next day the small man appeared before the Master unarmed. Knowing he was about to die he took a breath & calmed his nerves & began the Traditional Japanese tea ceremony. His actions were so focused & dedicated in the face of death, The Samurai Master rose, bowed to the smaller man & walked away. * This story demonstrates how tranquility can be a weapon. The little man disarmed his Master without raising a blade.
